A shared secret in life. 👉Meet God in the morning, and that is all you need to get through the day!

In this post we will breakdown Chapter 14 - Book of John

Chapter 14 encapsulates themes of comfort, the promise of the Holy Spirit, the importance of love and obedience, and the assurance of Jesus' presence, providing a profound foundation for the faith of His followers.

1. Assurance of Jesus' Departure (Verses 1-4)

Jesus comforts His disciples, encouraging them not to be troubled. He speaks of going to prepare a place for them in His Father’s house, emphasizing the promise of eternal life and the way to follow Him.

2. The Way, the Truth, and the Life (Verses 5-7)

Thomas expresses confusion about knowing the way to where Jesus is going. Jesus responds by declaring Himself as the way, the truth, and the life, affirming that no one comes to the Father except through Him.

3. Knowledge of the Father (Verses 8-11)

Philip asks Jesus to show them the Father. Jesus explains that seeing Him is seeing the Father, highlighting His unity with the Father and encouraging belief in Him and His works.

4. Promise of Greater Works (Verses 12-14)

Jesus assures His disciples that those who believe in Him will do the works He has been doing, and even greater things, as He goes to the Father. He promises to answer their prayers in His name.

5. The Promise of the Holy Spirit (Verses 15-17)

Jesus instructs His followers to keep His commandments. He promises to ask the Father to send the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, who will be with them forever and guide them into all truth.

6. Assurance of His Presence (Verses 18-20)

Jesus reassures His disciples that He will not leave them as orphans; He will come to them. He speaks of a time when they will realize He is in the Father, they are in Him, and He is in them.

7. Love and Obedience (Verses 21-24)

Jesus emphasizes that those who love Him will obey His teachings. He reiterates that love is demonstrated through obedience to His commands, and He will love those who do so.

8. The Role of the Holy Spirit (Verses 25-27)

Jesus explains that the Holy Spirit will teach them all things and remind them of everything He has said. He offers peace, a peace that the world cannot give, encouraging them not to be troubled or afraid.

9. Jesus' Return and the World’s Reaction (Verses 28-31)

Jesus tells His disciples that they should rejoice because He is going to the Father. He acknowledges that the ruler of this world is coming, but He has no hold on Him, emphasizing His obedience to the Father’s command.

Thank you Lord for your gift of the Holy Spirit.

We are facing a spiritual warfare of good vs evil and if you do not see that then you have successfully been brainwashed by the enemy. It is not political, it's biblical 💯. It's a dark world right now, that's only going to get darker. Make sure you have Jesus in your heart ❤️‍🔥because HE is the only source of light when the lights start dimming! Keep your lamps filled.

Lets delve into Matthew 25: 1-13.

Parable of the Ten Virgins (Matthew 25:1-13)

This parable tells the story of ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five were wise and took extra oil, while five were foolish and did not. When the bridegroom arrived, the foolish virgins were unprepared and missed the opportunity to enter the wedding feast.

"At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were wise. The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps.

The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep. At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’

Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’

‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’

But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.

Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’

But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’

Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour."

Meaning

- **Preparedness**: The parable underscores the importance of being spiritually prepared for the return of Christ. - **Wisdom vs. Foolishness**: It contrasts the actions of the wise and foolish, highlighting that wisdom involves foresight and readiness. - **Judgment**: The closing message emphasizes that those who are unprepared will miss out on eternal life.

Conclusion

Matthew Chapter 25 serves as a powerful reminder of the need for spiritual readiness, responsible stewardship of our gifts. It calls believers to live out their faith actively and compassionately in anticipation of Christ's return.

Good morning fellow Americans! "Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning"- Psalm 30:5

A September to Remember that the enemy can stop a voice, but he cannot stop the word of God . It's okay to disagree with someone but it will never be okay to harm them. It will never be a race, gun or political problem. It's a hate and lack of Jesus problem. God left a place within us vacant, a space that only HE can occupy. Let us unite today and show the world that this nation is one nation under God. Let us all turn from our wicked ways and repent for our sins daily. Stay obedient to HIM. Be alert, pray without ceasing and remember that the truth that matters most is not of this world. Never forget This world is temporary. Where are you wanting to spend eternity. I pray it is with the one who loves you, the one who died for you and who will never lie to you because he is not a father of lies. It is the one who wants that relationship with you. He came and conquered death so that you may have abundant joy and a place to call home. A home filled with light and no darkness or torture.

HE is our hope we can always cling to.

HE is our peace in the chaos.

When there’s no peace on earth, there is peace in Christ.

The light shines only to those who follow HIM because HE is the light of the world.

I'm thankful for my relationship with Jesus, because this world will always bring trials but when you have Jesus, you have joy. A joy that overcomes and surpasses every hard trial and tribulation. Jesus tells us everything we need to know in the bible to give us peace through HIM John 16:33 reminds us of that.

Have you ever noticed… those who know Christ and die are totally different compared to those who don’t know God and die. Tomorrow is never promised, seek HIM now.

(Next weekend I head back to the coast for some R&R and more soaking in HIS words with HIM. )

About

Hi, I'm J'Nee!
So good to have you here.

Reading all sixty-six books of the bible has brought me so much joy and hunger for his words. I encourage you to read the entire Bible. I love God because I was taught to and because I grew up in church but reading the Bible gave me a relationship with Jesus in which makes me love HIM even more! I thank my family for my upbringing of Jesus. I know there are a lot of people out there who may have not grown up with Jesus and my ask of you, is to open yourself up to the Bible and get to know your creator and reach out to someone who does know him. In Romans 10:17 it says, "Faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ". I started this blog to help others get to know Jesus and because Christlikeness is an ongoing pursuit✝️. We live in a corrupted world full of sin, but our hope is in a living God not in a dying world. We should matter what is in the next life. Because this world is doomed to perish, just like our bodies. ⚰️ This is the hope of the gospel that we worship a God who does not change but is changing us. As a new Christian, you become on fire for the Lord. I will never be ashamed to speak for him, witness for him and, live for him. My comfort and peace come from him and him alone. “She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future"- Proverbs 31:25🙏Our purpose becomes clear when you realize you are here for HIS glory and not your own. I will always keep this verse locked in my mind. “Go into all the world and preach the gospel.” - Mark 16:15. We must be on a mission for the Lord, grow in holiness and remember God's plans are always better. If you know Jesus, you know he is enough. If you don't know Jesus, nothing will ever be enough. 🙏💓✝️- Sincerely, J'Nee
